Much like Michael Burry in the Big Short, we are the only company that has gone to the ground floor to examine the data and discover why organizations are continually ‘blindsided’ by their serious incidents. The harsh reality, the data companies are relying on to manage risk is invalid, inaccurate, and worthless. We can show why serious incidents like BP’s Deep-Water Horizon can go 7 years without a recordable, then BOOM. Or why great safety-first organizations can have the highest safety spend and most safety professionals in industry and, the most fatalities. They are literally running blind to their risk. Safety data has become a house of cards perpetuated by classic garbage in, garbage out that is being further perpetuated by senior leaders of the world's largest organizations that are relying on bad data and being guided by a false sense of assurance that it won't happen to me.
